APPS TO MANAGE MENTAL HEALTH
In this day and age, there is an app for just about anything. While there are more traditional routes for therapy and counseling, apps are a great way to build up protective factors, things that can promote resilience and give better protection from experiencing mental health challenges, and a mental health toolkit.
Some important protective factors such as stress management, routine building, and coping skills can be developed with the help of apps! Take a look at these apps, and if any speak to you, add them to your mental health toolkit and implement them in your daily life.
Apps for Stress Management & Meditation: Stress is a normal part of life, especially when it comes and goes quickly. When stress becomes chronic, however, it can wreak havoc on our physical and mental health. When we are most stressed, it can feel impossible to relax, but there are tools at our fingertips that can help regulate those emotions.
Meditation apps are excellent for regulating our breath and clearing our mind of the things that are making us stressed. Check out some recommendations below and think of making meditation a regular part of your routine to combat stress!

Apps for Habit Building: Our days are made up of small habits, and the sum of those habits dictate what kind of day, month, year, and life we have. We know that protective factors are crucial for good mental health and some; such as better sleep, exercise, and nutrition can be achieved through healthy habit building.
Below are a few apps that can help you track your habits and encourage the implementation of healthy habits!

Some see a big difference in mood through meditating, journaling, socializing and grounding exercises. The goal is to look within ourselves and find what works for us.
Below are some apps that offer behavioral health coaching and psychology practices proven to positively affect mood.

However, virtual appointments with a Magellan provider are typically available within a week depending on the type of specialist and know that some specialists may be harder to get into due to their specialty in general.
